Mastery of TaeKwonDo is not the desired end but only a vehicle towards that end. Therefore, the study of the Martial Arts does not start and end at the door of the training hall. It is a way of life in which every action, in and out of class, is performed to the best of one’s ability, which is essential in developing one’s character.

How long does it normally take to earn a Black Belt?
In order to reach the level of 1st Dan Black Belt, it generally takes approximately (3) three years with a minimum of (2) two to (3) three hours of practice per week. Rank achievement depends on the individuals physical, spiritual and mental attitude. There is no end to the ranks of Black Belt, however, the beginning rank for Black Belt is 1st Dan and the highest is 10th Dan.
